Meet Frances Mariel

Frances began playing the piano at the age of four, raised in a family of professional musicians and opera singers. Music was part of everyday life, shaping her discipline, creativity, and love for artistic expression from an early age.

Her musical background includes classical piano study, private instruction, conservatory training, vocal performance, and experience performing in concerts and productions in several countries.

With more than 15 years of teaching experience, Frances brings musical structure, patience, and warmth into every lesson.

Her teaching combines classical foundations — including technique, music reading, rhythm, ear training, theory, and healthy posture — with repertoire thoughtfully selected around each student’s age, interests, experience, and goals.

The result is an encouraging and well-rounded learning experience where students are supported, challenged, and inspired to become confident, independent musicians.

Frances teaches children, teens, and adults through private, personalized piano lessons in Murphy, Texas.
