The FM Approach
The Frances Mariel Approach personalizes lessons by age, pace, and goals through five core pillars.

Personalized Pacing
Lessons meet each student where they are, never rushing, never holding back.
Strong Foundations
Proper technique and music-reading skills built from the very first lesson.
Joyful Practice
Practice is made purposeful, encouraging, and connected to music students enjoy.
Confidence in Performance
Regular, low-pressure opportunities to play build real self-assurance.
Goal-Driven Growth
Every student works toward milestones that matter to them, from recitals to exams.
Piano Lesson Tuition
Your Investment
Every student learns differently. Lesson length is thoughtfully recommended based on each student’s age, experience, attention span, learning pace, and long-term musical goals.
Monthly tuition reserves one recurring weekly lesson time. Please review the Studio Policies for details about scheduled holidays, studio closures, and how the monthly tuition calendar works.

Check AvailabilityStudent Compatibility
For student pairs, compatibility matters. Children participating together are thoughtfully matched by age, experience, learning pace, and readiness to help create an engaging and productive shared lesson. Parent-and-child pairs are also welcome.
For children learning together, Semi-Private Lessons are generally recommended for ages 7+ and work best when students are of a similar age, level, and learning pace.
Semi-Private lessons are currently offered in person only.
